Research GroupDevelopment Economics
The research group development economics comprises researchers at the Alfred-Weber-Institute who study questions relating to economic development, including aspects of health, education, conflict and migration, and politics.
We employ empirical analyses and field experimental methods, and have a strong focus on political processes in the context of development aid, as well as on the role of international organizations.
